How long does battery backup last in cloudy weather?
Several days of typical operation on battery alone, depending on draw and ambient conditions. Persistent overcast can be supplemented with a generator if the site needs absolute uptime, but most deployments run solar-only without interruption.
Do I need internet on the site?
No. Built-in Cradlepoint cellular handles the connection. We test cell signal at the planned spot before placing the trailer.
Can I view the cameras from off-site?
Yes. Live feeds and recorded playback are accessible from any computer or phone with internet. Permission-based access for the people who need it.
What happens if someone tampers with the trailer?
Tamper sensors trigger an alarm to the monitoring center. Cameras capture the attempt. If the optional alarm package is active, verified dispatch goes out immediately.
